S-Plastics Xenoy resin is a thermoplastic alloy blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Amorphous polycarbonate has impact resistance and toughness, while PBT polymer has enhanced chemical resistance and thermal stability. Xenoy resin has the following characteristics: ductility, chemical resistance, high temperature dimensional stability and mechanical strength. This series of resins also have excellent aesthetic feeling, lubricity, UV stability and color retention. Xenoy resin was originally developed for the automotive industry. It has gasoline and raw oil resistance and high impact strength at low temperature [as low as - 40 ° f (- 40 ° C)]. The impact resistance improvement improves the balance performance of Xenoy resin, which has high and low temperature durability. Whether it is the combination of impact strength, chemical resistance and dimensional stability, or lubricity, high temperature resistance and toughness, Xenoy resin has a unique performance balance in engineering thermoplastic materials.
S-Plastics Xenoy 5720U is an unfilled PBT+PC alloy. Outstanding low temperature impact/chemical resistance. UV stabilized version.
