S-Plastics Cycoloy resin is polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers and mixtures, which are a combination of polycarbonate (Polycarbonate) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastic that combines the superior properties of both materials. Cycoloy resin has the properties of both materials, thus achieving the best balance of product performance, processability and cost. By changing the mixing ratio of PC and ABS, the cycloy resin can be customized to meet special technical requirements, including a wide range of high-performance applications from automobile control panels and computer housings to instrument panels and cellular phone systems.
S-Plastics Cycoloy alloy plastic has very good weather resistance. In the automotive industry, the high temperature resistance level, aging resistance and electroplating level required by parts and small ornaments are diversified and the processing of various shapes is convenient for molding. Flame retardant grade: because the fire resistance of PC is good, it fully complements the fire resistance of ABS. The fire resistance of PC / ABS is also very good. After adding flame retardant, it can reach the flame retardant V0 and 5V standards. Flame retardant grades are generally divided into those that meet V0, V1, V2 and 5V non ignition standards. It is very simple to test the flame retardant standards. Use a lighter to light the products to be tested to see their burning time. All flame retardant grades have obtained UL certification. The test standard unit is UL94. Among the flame retardant materials, there are halogen and phosphorus flame retardant grades: there are both non halogen PC / ABS general grades and high heat-resistant grades. Some common flame retardant materials contain halogen and bromine. Those with high environmental protection requirements need halogen-free or low halogen materials to be high environmental protection grades. Mineral filled reinforcing materials: including common glass fiber, calcium carbonate and talc mineral fillers.
S-Plastics Cycoloy c6600 (PC/ABS) resin is Nonbrominated, nonchlorinated FR PC+ABS with balanced flow, impact and hydrolytic stability for a wide variety of applications including business equipment, monitors, enclosures, among others.
