S-Plastics Cycoloy resin is a blend of high impact resistant amorphous polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene trimer (ABS), which has the properties of both materials, thus achieving the best balance of product performance, processability and cost. By changing the mixing ratio of PC and ABS, the Cycoloy resin can be customized to meet special technical requirements, including a wide range of high-performance applications from automobile control panels and computer housings to instrument panels and cellular phone systems.
Cycloy resin has the processability and mechanical properties of ABS and the impact resistance of polycarbonate and heat resistance characteristics. These thermoplastic alloy polymers have exceptional fluidity and can be used for filling thin-walled profiles and complex parts. The impact resistance can be maintained below - 20 ° f (- 29 ° C). By controlling the ratio of the two blends, the heat-resistant temperature range can reach 176 ~ 280 ° f (80 ~ 137 ° C).
