Product Description

Sabic Xylex resin is a copolymer of transparent polycarbonate (PC) and amorphous polyester. Compared with PC, adding polyester to xylex resin provides enhanced chemical resistance against certain fluids and improves the stress cracking resistance of the resin.

  • Chemical resistance:Resistant to swimming pool and Spa Chemicals, automotive oils, alcohols, detergents, food additives and health and beauty products
  • Clarity:Clear as polycarbonate - almost indistinguishable from standard window glass
  • Weather resistance:Grades include UV stable formulations, as well as inherent - weather resistant polyester resins for outstanding external applications
  • High flow:Good mode flow in thin section

Sabic Xylex resin X8300 is a transparent, UV stabilized polycarbonate (PC) and polyester alloy. Exhibits good weather resistance, enhanced chemical resistance, lower processing temperatures. Is suitable for processing by injection molding.
