PBT plastic is a kind of plastic composed of polybutylene terephthalate. It is a semi crystalline material with very good chemical stability, mechanical strength, electrical insulation characteristics and thermal stability.
1. Mechanical properties: high strength, fatigue resistance, stable size and small creep (little change under high temperature conditions)
2. Heat aging resistance: the enhanced UL temperature index reaches 120 ~ 140 ℃ (outdoor long-term aging resistance is also very good);
3. Excellent long-term thermal deterioration.
4. Low water absorption, good mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
5. Good weather resistance.
6. Good abrasion resistance and abrasion resistance.
7. Good fluidity and crystallinity, suitable for rapid prototyping.
8. The improvement effect of glass fiber physical property is good.
9. Easy to reach V-0 level, physical properties can maintain electrical performance:
Insulation performance: excellent (wet and high temperature can also maintain stable electrical performance, and it is an ideal material for manufacturing electronic and electrical parts);
Dielectric coefficient: 3.0-3.2;
Arc resistance: 120s;
The valox family of thermoplastic polyester resins are semi-crystalline materials based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and/or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polymers. Valox resin formulations include many performance-matched grades designed to provide application-specific property profiles. Valox resins combine heat and chemical resistance, as well as outstanding electrical properties with exceptionally good processability and surface appearance.
Sabic valox 420SE0 is a 30% glass filled, flame retardant Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) injection moldable grade with excellent chemical resistance. It has a UL94V0@0.71mm and 5VA@2.0mm flame rating. This is a good candidate for a variety of applications in the electrical industry.
